Transfer to the Island of LIPARI. A member
of our team will be waiting on the Island
and will give you all the information about
the program and its itinerary.
TOUR OF
SALINA ISLAND
10:00 am departure from Lipari for the
circumnavigation of the island from the east.
During the trip,
passengers can dive into the sea directly
from the boat. After sailing past Monte Rosa
and Canneto, we arrive at the Pumice
Quarries where we stop for a swim.
Continuing the scenic ride, we admire the
casting of Obsidian and Acquacalda. Leaving
Lipari, we sail towards Salina, and we find
the town of Santa Marina. Then, we stop for
a swim at Cape Lighthouse in its enchanting
waters. After the break, we sail towards
Malfa and continue to the famous Bay of
Pollara and its magnificent arch, set for
the movie "The Postman" with Massimo Troisi.
Here, we will make another stop for a swim.
Continuing along the coast, we arrive at
Lingua where we will spend about two hours
to visit the salt lake. In the afternoon, we
will leave Salina and sail along the west
side of the island of Lipari, where the
beautiful caves lie ahead, particularly the
Blue Grotto where we will again take a dive
from the boat. We will touch the Valle Muria
Bay, the two stacks of Lipari, the Cave of
Angels, Pope past the Rock of Pope John Paul
and the Rock of the Mummy with a final stop
for the last swim in the Bay of Vinci.
5.00 pm arrival at the port of Vulcano. Time
for visit of the Island and for swimming.
Among the attractions of the Island of
Vulcano:
SULPHROUS MUD
They are one of the peculiarities of
Vulcano. Leaving the port on the right,
behind a rock with incredible colors (shades
ranging from yellow to red), a natural pool
of sulphurous mud, known for their
therapeutic properties. You enter the pool,
where the water is heavily mineralized and
enriched by volcanic fumaroles with choking
sulphurous vapors. The mud is good for
treating arthritis, diseases of the
respiratory tract and skin diseases.
CLIMING THE CRATER
The hiking to the top of the crater is a
walk not to be missed. Great feelings and
discover a world that can hardly be imagined.
SPIAGGE NERE
It 's the most famous beach of the Island,
located in the natural harbor the the West.
It has a fine, black and glossy sand of
volcanic origin.
6:30 pm embarkation and return to Milazzo.
